Mexican TimeShare Fraud Exposed!
|
Site LaunchWWW.MexicanTimeshareFraud.com has been officially launched on January 6th, 2005. Prior to that the URL was only a link to www.Gkaufmann.net. The reason for creating a separate site is because the www.DMOZ.org (Open directory project - master index that all of the search engines use) will not register a site that has two names. So, in preparation for the busy season, I have arranged to have this site hosted separately. Both sites have information - but the gkaufmann.net will not be updated. I will probably use that site for something else in spring. You will notice a few changes. I think all of the links actually work and most spelling is correct. I included some new information including a translated Mexican law section I found online at Mescam. I placed most of the original site content in a pdf and plan on selling the E-book on Ebay. Not necessarily to make any money, but to "Get the Word Out". I plan on selling it for $2-5, and ebay and PayPal costs will be over $1 if I sell one. If I do not sell one the ebay fee will only be about .35 so I plan on leaving some hints to the website URL, where if you noticed, the pdf link is on the bottom of every page. Over the past year one question I get from almost everyone is - what fee do you charge for your services. I have never "charged" anyone. If I would have charged 10% I could retire early. But money is not why I spend about five hours a week working the site and working with victims. It is purely for my own self satisfaction that I helping others. But as you can imagine, hosting fees, URL fees, ebay and Paypal fees, and especially software fees are beginning to add up. (if anyone knows where I can get a cheap 'educational' copy of Front Page 2003 rather than the $200 list price I would appreciate it). You will find that now on the website I am asking you to help support this website with a $10 donation. When I was telling one of my friends about how good I felt about helping these victims of fraud she said "have them donate to charity on your behalf and then really feel good about what you are doing." So, you will also note on the website that if you were successful getting your contract cancelled partly due to this site - to make a donation to one of my two favorite charities, Cancer Society or Red Cross. Everyone needs help once and a while - lets make sure help is always there.
